2008 Annual NASA Knowledge Management Team Meeting and Workshop

The NASA Knowledge Management Team will hold its 2008 annual meeting and workshop July 15-17, in Pasadena, CA. All NASA personnel interested in or working in the field of Knowledge Management are welcome.

OVERVIEW

Day 1 is reserved for briefings from each participating NASA Center and Mission Directorate regarding their Knowledge Management activities. The afternoon will focus on benchmarking activities. Days 2 and 3 will be a workshop devoted to Search Architecture and Knowledge Architecture, beginning with an Overview and a Keynote Speaker. Attendees may opt to participate in one of the two topics. The Workshops will continue on Day 3, and the meeting will conclude with a discussion of tasks and priorities for the next year.

FOCUS

The 2008 workshop will include interactive discussions regarding specific tasks the group wants to take on and accomplish as a team. These discussions will lead directly to a set of actions based on requests from NASA Headquarters, the Centers, and Mission Directorates for support in the field of Knowledge Management.

An advance registration fee is not required. However, it is necessary to reserve your space for the workshop. Please contact the the NASA KM Workshop Coordinator to request a reservation form.
